Christ Is The Answer Ministries

The Gospel travels best with people who stay.

CITA stands behind local missionaries and churches who share the Gospel with their own neighbors — in word, in practical care, and for as long as it takes.

Why we go

We believe Jesus Christ is the answer to humanity’s deepest need. Not as a slogan — as a life lived next door. So we look for the people who already live there, prepare them, equip them and stand behind them for as long as it takes.

  1. 01

    Find

Believers already trusted in their own community.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Missionary and Bible schools in Ethiopia and India.

  3. 03

    Equip

Eye care, food, media and church-planting tools.

  4. 04

    Stand behind

Spiritual, moral and material support — so they can stay.

Where we serve

Follow the work, place by place.

01 Ukraine · since 2014

Where it began — and who carries it now.

CITA was formally founded in Ukraine in 2014. A church and media center in Rivne followed in 2016, with the first eye clinic, and a Kyiv branch in 2020. Ukrainian regional leaders now carry the work in the west, east and south.

02 Ethiopia · since 2021

Ethiopian believers, trained to lead at home.

03 India · since 2022

Some of the work is safest unseen.

Graduates of the Bible school CITA opened in September 2022 had planted three churches by the first half of 2024 — led by Indian believers, not by teams sent from abroad. Locations stay unpublished, for the safety of local workers.

Four ministry tools

Practical care opens the door. The Gospel walks through it.

Each tool is delivered by people who already know the community and remain responsible for what follows. Sponsor one, or ask to use it in your own field.

Church planting

Kenya · Mombasa · since 2020

A mission that moved in, then trained the people who would stay. (opens on cita.tv in a new tab)

Mombasa is a hard place to grow up. Rather than run visits, Zamu Mission built a presence: Happy & Holy, a three-month course, meets more than 250 secondary school students every week, beside home groups, children’s camps and work with women and families. The most lasting work is the quietest — training local ministers who will still be there long after any visiting team has gone.

A word from leadership

The people who answer for the work.

CITA's ministry director greeting members of a congregation.

Our part is to find the people God has already placed in a community, prepare them and stand behind them. They carry the work — we make sure they never carry it alone.

To love is to serve. That is why we stay — a church, a clinic, a newspaper, and the local people who keep them going long after any visit ends.

Partners’ voices

We hand out the “Christ is the answer” newspaper on our own streets. People take it home, read it, and some come to church with their questions.

Oleksii Ukraine Pastor, field partner Recommends CITA

We fund work that is led locally. In Ethiopia the churches are planted by Ethiopian missionaries — the model we wanted to stand behind.

Sarah Denver, Colorado Foundation partner Recommends CITA

Giving monthly means the local team can plan ahead. I know my gift goes to people who live where they serve.

Ethan Nashville, Tennessee Monthly partner Recommends CITA

We sponsor vision care because the exam is only the start. The team that fits the glasses lives in the same town and is still there next month.
